engagement preparation: part 1

hai!

hari ini ada satu progress lagi yang aku bisa ceritain (well, 2 sih sebenernya) tapi karena yang satu lagi kayaknya bakal panjang jadi nanti deh aku tulis pas weekend ya #pemalas

untuk acara lamaran aku, tanggalnya udah ditentuin. insya allah awal mei ini (aaakk deg-degan). baju untuk lamaran ini udah aku siapin sih sebenernya, bahan udah dibeli dari tahun lalu dan minggu kemarin udah selesai dijahit.

aku gak pake kebaya, tetapi dress karena pengen suasana yang agak beda aja sih (entah kenapa lagi pengen pake dress bagus). eh tapi yang mau aku omongin di post ini adalah make up!

udah browsing2 dari bulan september kemarin (iya iya kecepetan) MUA mana aja yang bagus dan 'anak muda' banget. kebetulan ada temen kuliahku, Dira, yang posting foto prewedding-nya dan dia bilang kalau dia di make up oleh Dela (@fidelhertamakeup).

ya ampuuun make up nya baguus, natural dan gak menor tapi flawless (ehm Dira-nya sendiri juga udah cantik banget sih ) terus aku buka instagramnya dan liat portofolionya dan langsung sukaaa :D

aku coba untuk nanya pricelist nya by email dan ternyata harganya cukup terjangkau. jadi Mba Dela ini menetapkan tarif yang berbeda sesuai dengan produk make up yang dia pakai. untuk acara lamaran, kalau kita pakai produk drugstore (borjouis, pac, make over, etc) harga tahun 2014 adalah 350.000 sedangkan untuk produk high end cosmetic (chanel, bobbi brown, mufe, etc) adalah 650.000

itu semua udah termasuk hair-do dan transport nya Mba Dela untuk datang ke rumah kita ya :)

update: untuk harga 2015 produk drugstore 450.000 dan produk high-end 750.000

aku udah minta foto hasil make up baik yang high end maupun drugstore, dan hasilnya sama sama bagus kok menurutku. lagipula, merk drugstore yang dipakai juga bagus dan udah sering aku pake juga kok (make over, pac dan borjouis) >> bilang aja ngirit hahaha :P

setelah Dela confirm kalau dia masih available untuk tanggal lamaran aku (PS: Dela ini ramah banget loh), langsung aku DP deh untuk booking. semoga hasilnya nanti memuaskan dan aku bisa didandanin jadi cantik yah hihi

update lagi: aku jadinya pakai yg high end, pertimbangannya karena kan sekali-kali ini aja terus karena aku ga usah nyari make up lagi buat foto prewedding nanti, jadi boleh deh yang mahal sekali-kali hehehe :D

yang aku mau bahas untuk kali ini adalah: color palette atau biasa disebut juga tema warna saat acara nanti.

seberapa penting sih emang? jelas penting dong, karena kan gak lucu kalau warna baju pengantin, kebaya orangtua dan seragam keluarga gak nyambung sama warna dekornya.

terus kalau undangannya warna merah misalnya, eh pas acara dekornya biru semua (gak nyambung banget kan?)

of course, yang paling utama adalah catering dan gedung. tapi itu kita bahas nanti ya :)

pertama, tentuin tema warna untuk acara kamu nanti, rembukin dengan keluarga dan calon suami juga.

jadi kalau nanti mau cari bahan kebaya kan enak udah punya 'patokan' harus warna apa.

dan misalnya tema kamu warna hijau, gak melulu semua harus warna hijau lho. bisa juga dicampur gold dan hijaunya juga dicampur-campur (ada hijau muda, hijau tua, dll).

untuk mudahnya, kamu harus bikin color palette / wedding palette sebagai pengaturan warna saat acara nanti biar gak keluar jalur.

aku sendiri akan pakai warna fuschia pink & gold (yeay I love pink!) mungkin akan sedikit dicampur ungu ya karena warna ungu kan masih 'turunan' warna pink fanta .

jadi ini sebagai gambaran aja untuk tema acaraku nanti, dan pastinya untuk pemilihan warna gak boleh keluar jalur dari si palette ini.

the beginning of preparation

Aku lupa darimana awal mulanya kita memutuskan untuk menikah *duar*

Pokoknya ga ada deh lamaran2 romantis ala ala film hollywood/korea gitu :D

Dari awal, Bein bilang emang udah mau serius sama aku. Dan aku liat, selain baik (bangeeeet), Bein juga cukup sabar yah ngadepin aku yang manja dan super bawel ini hihi :p

Setiap ketemu mamanya pasti selalu ditanya 'hayo kapan nih mau nikah?' padahal waktu itu belum lama juga sama Bein, baru 6 bulanan lah. Aku sih ketawa2 aja ditanya begitu, tapi setelah Lebaran 2014 keluarganya Bein dateng ke rumahku untuk silahturahmi sekaligus bilang kalau emang pengen dilanjutkan ke arah yang lebih serius tahun depan *cieeeh*

Dari situ baru deh aku mulai browsing2 tentang vendor2 mana yang bagus untuk catering, foto, souvenir, dkk. Setiap ada waktu luang di kantor, pasti bawannya gatel buka mbah google buat browsing dan buka forum weddingku :P *maaf ya bos*

Dan sebagai capeng (udah boleh dibilang capeng belom sih?) newbie, aku pun mulai nyatet2 list vendor yang bagus. Nanti akan dibahas lebih detail ya..

Nah, suatu waktu kita berdua nyoba dateng ke wedding expo di JCC. Setiap nanya ke suatu vendor pasti jadinya malu sendiri, karena pas ditanya 'emang untuk tanggal berapa?' kita cuma bisa bilang 'hmm.. belom tau sih pastinya kapan' #capenggalau

lah orang emang belum nentuin tanggal kok, ini baru survey2 ajaaah hihi

Disana kita sempet datengin salah satu vendor photobooth yang pasti kalian rata2 udah kenal deh, yaitu Moments To Go. Kebetulan lagi ada promo, untuk paket photobooth unlimited 3 jam jadi 4 juta rupiah dari harga 5 juta.

Karena kita pikir2 kok seru yaaa kalo pake photobooth gitu jadi emang tertarik banget sih apalagi ada iming2 diskon *anak modis*.

Aku gatau sih untuk harga vendor photobooth lainnya, tapi aku udah gak meragukan kualitas Moments To Go (dari hasil cetak fotonya dan properti yang dia punya lebih variatif dan lebih lucu dari yang lain) in my opinion loh ya :))

Berhubung kita belum punya tanggal sempet bingung juga mau DP atau nggak. Tapi kalo nggak DP ga dapet diskon aaahhhh galaau </3

Mas-nya akhirnya meyakinkan kalau kita DP dulu aja untuk mengikat harga dan promo, masalah tanggal gampang, kalau nanti udah fixed tinggal kabarin aja ke mereka. yeaaay akhirnya Bein memutuskan untuk yaudahlah DP aja dulu 500ribu *hip hip huraa*

Nikah 2015 kok nyiapinnya dari September 2014 sih? 

Aduh aku emang anaknya well prepared sih xp *ditabok massa*. Aku emang gak suka nyiapin sesuatu (apalagi untuk acara penting dan kita udah tau lah ya, yang mau nikah tuh banyak loh) mepet-mepet pada waktunya. BIG NO NO

Jadi daripada rebutan vendor sama ratusan bridezilla di seantero Jakarta jadi aku pikir cicil2 aja dari sekarang2 lebih baik :D

Oke, cerita tentang vendor lainnya akan dibahas di post2 selanjutnya ya ~~

I actually didn't planning on posting/writing about this but if it will make me better.. so here it goes..

you know i'm a big fan of super junior. well, i'm not the only one of course.

I didn't expect other people will like super junior like i do because i know everybody have their own preference.

when my friend talked a lot about justin bieber in twitter, i'm so okay with that.

when a lot of boy friends talked about football much, it's really fine to me.

i won't mind about people's hobby/interest. really. it's like.. their own privacy?

but the very sad thing is, one of my bestfriend seems hate me.. no.. seems hating my fondness for super junior or other kpop group. she always think it's a virus and she really hope I can 'recover' from this virus.

i was really sad. i know she didn't like these stuffs since the very first time so i never talked about super junior in front of her because i respect her. i never make her to listen to their songs, meanwhile i always listening when she suggest a song or one particular band she likes.

it's like.. my super junior is really disgusting for her and it really hurts me.

she has her very own perfect life, and i know i can't compete with that. you have almost everything, those happiness thing in your wonderful life so why can't i have one? :'(

super junior is one of the thing makes me happy. i used my own money to watch them, to buy their cds, people won't get disadvantages from this.

Pink Gangsta! Lioele Pink Princess Mirror & Too Cool For School Pink Pouch review

hello there!

Now I'm gonna reviewing these 2 products I've mentioned in this post title. What to review about a mirror and a pouch anyway? They're just a mirror and a pouch which functions are pretty much the same with the others.

But they are so cute and lovely! Especially for you who loves PINK just like me :)

Okay the first stuff is Too Cool For School Pink Pouch (Emma Pouch)

The design is so lovely (I forgot the designer's name, Anne something?) I searched for a new makeup pouch since my old one is getting ugly >< 

and it has to be pink! lol

And then I found this Too Cool For School Emma Pouch, I immediately fell in love with its design and color. But kindly reminder for you, this pouch is quite small. Its length is only 13,5cm. My Body Shop blush brush even didn't fit here. I only put my eyeliner, liptint, 3 blush on, hand mirror, and lipgloss. Your loose powder / comb won't fit in this pouch :)

That's the cons, but overall I LOVE this pouch. so tiny and it won't make your bag full x)

Maybe it can be your basic makeup pouch, I mean.. just your essentials and important makeup.

The second is, Lioele Princess Mirror

OMG SO PRETTY, RIGHT??

It comes with two colors: baby pink and hot pink.

Since I love pink, I can't choose between two. they are just too pretty and cute ><

But recently, I'm so into hot/shocking pink.  So I decided to buy this hand mirror from one online shop named CP (bet you can't guess :P). The product is on stock but there's no option to choose the color so I just write the messages to the owner that I prefer the hot pink one, and once I confirmed the payment I wrote it again in message section.

The package came earlier today, but they gave me the baby pink one!! Okay it's cute but I really really want the hot pink, like seriously T__T

My friend said it won't change the mirror's function itself but... sigh...

anyway, here's my new baby

mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?

overall the mirror size is not big, which is good because it fits into my TCFS pouch yeay! But the mirror's size inside is pretty wide.

I feel so sorry to this baby pink, I don't think I can change this one so maybe I will buy the hot pink one?

Two mirror in one pouch! LOL I sound like a narcissistic teenage girl :P
